Philippians 2:5-11 (NIRV)

"As you deal with one another, you should think and act as Jesus did.
In his very nature he was God. Jesus was equal with God. But Jesus didn’t take advantage of that fact. Instead, he made himself nothing. He did this by taking on the nature of a servant. He was made just like human beings. He appeared as a man. He was humble and obeyed God completely. He did this even though it led to his death. Even worse, he died on a cross!
So God lifted him up to the highest place. God gave him the name that is above every name. When the name of Jesus is spoken, everyone will kneel down to worship him. Everyone in heaven and on earth and under the earth will kneel down to worship him. Everyone’s mouth will say that Jesus Christ is Lord. And God the Father will receive the glory." Friends Get Together

I left St. Cloud about 9:45 am on Saturday and, after a stop for gas and a coffee, drove down to St. Michael to see Caytie's new house (awesome!!!!). It was fun to see her new place and get a tour! Caytie and I left her place about 11:30 am to drive together down to Roseville in order to meet up with Michele and Nicole for lunch!

Both Caytie and I and Michele and Nicole got to Olive Garden early, so it was perfect timing! Michele brought her new baby, Jared (6 weeks on Saturday), so I got to cuddle him! :) We hung out at Olive Garden for 2 hours catching up on life. It was great to see Michele and Nicole as I only see them about 4 times a year.

Nicole had a blast playing with Jared. She held him and played with him for about an hour! By the end of the day, however, she was extremely tired. Nicole is back to Mayo in June for more testing, and she's still on the heart donor list. She said that all she does is sleep, and that she barely eats anymore. Since the last time I saw her, she did look a little better this time, but not by much. She ate more, which was good (almost all of her soup, and some salad), but still not that much.

Caytie, Nicole, and I all brough gifts for Michele for the baby. She opened the gifts before lunch, and got a ton of stuff, particularly larger sizes for boy, which was good because Michele said that she didn't have much in larger sizes for him! I had soup (Zuppa Toscana), salad, and breadsticks (with the alfredo dipping sauce, of course), and it was yummy!

Been a Long Time...

Wow! I just realized that I hadn't really written on here since December, just after my return from Australia. I've been so busy writing and posting my Australia travel blogs back to the actual date of travel that I have neglected to update with current stuff.

That being said, there is nothing new! :)
